the general thinking is that everyone gets shorter as they get older. Quite often this loss of height actually comes from the head moving forward of the shoulders. When that happens the vertical distance between the ear and shoulder shortens. When the software documents the amount of forward head posture you can explain to the patient that one of the side effects from your treatment will be that they will become taller because as the head moves backward toward normal it also moves upward.
